A comprehensive workshop on managing projects and managing yourself aimed at individuals running small to medium projects. If you need a practical framework for managing projects and yourself, this is the workshop for you. This workshop is available as both an open seminar and as a closed workshop for multiple staff from an individual organisation. 2. Managing Change for People Who Need to Make Things Happen (Simon Davey) Need to change things but never quite make it work? This change management workshop shows you how to make things happen, overcome the common obstacles and pitfalls and produce lasting change. 3. Practical Project Management (Rosanna Henderson) Practical is the key word in this course. How do you turn that vision into a reality, how do you convert a dream into an event, how do you make a strategy into an Action Plan? 4. Annual Report Writing (Rosanna Henderson) The need to produce an Annual Report can often be seen as an unwanted task that is rushed through at the last minute but it should be seen as a wonderful opportunity. Building Successful Business Partnerships (Rosanna Henderson) How do you get the business and voluntary sectors to meet, talk and ultimately form a successful lasting partnership? Having worked in both the business world and in the voluntary sector Rosanna has hands-on experience of why business want to help, how to approach a business and what makes for lasting success. 7. Developing a Volunteer Programme (Simon Davey) How do you make a volunteer programme work? This workshop will help you plan your programme and make sure you get it right. 8. Making ICT Work for Your Organisation (Simon Davey and Jason King) ICT is fundamental to your success as an organisation but how do you get it right? How do you balance costs against investments? What does your ICT solution look like and how can you make the technology behave? We have the answers. 9. Website Owners Workshop (Jason King) This is for anyone who is responsible for designing, commissioning, editing or in any way running a voluntary sector website. From development to maintenance, accessibility to compliance, this is your opportunity to share concerns, learn new skills and get it right! 10. Internet Tools for Communication (Jason King) Email and websites are the best known communication tools on the Internet but there are others. Your voluntary group could use these free online tools to be more productive and improve the way you interact with clients. This training session - a mix of demonstrations, hands-on practice and discussion - will show you how easy it is |
