Two years ago Melanie set up Inspiring Technology Solutions Ltd, because she is passionate about the use of technology and has a great desire to inspire other into being able to use technology effectively. Inspiring Technology Solutions focuses on website and database development as well as I.T. training and works with a range of clients from the charity, education and private sectors. She has already gained a great reputation for using plain language, being supportive and empowering people to get the best out of themselves and improving efficiency for the organisation.

Melanie believes in supporting charities in particular after spending two years in South Africa as a volunteer herself through VSO (voluntary services overseas), supporting two charities with their IT needs. She currently still supports the work VSO as a voluntary selector on the panel interviewing other potential volunteers. She also works as a mentor through the charity ChanceUK mentoring a young boy, empowering him in dealing effectively with the issues which face him on a day to day basis.
