Why Support Local Communities?

"Where your talents and the needs of the world cross - there lies your vocation." - Aristotle

One of the core principles behind preponderate membership is support for local and regional communities. All preponderate members provide support to charities and community groups within their local community and within their region of core operations.

Community support is a way of putting something back into the communities which have helped to build our businesses and networks and to provide sustainable opportunities for those less fortunate than ourselves.

What Differentiates Pro Bono (free professional support) from Funded Activities?

Some of preponderate's charity and community clients receive support free of charge. These are typically sourced via our community partners. A project's suitability for pro bono (free) support will always be a judgement call on the part of an individual member. However, as a rule of thumb, any large scale project will more than likely be fee based. Large charities are unlikely to receive any support free of charge although this is dependent on discretion of individual members.
